The American Academy of Ophthalmology has recommended all ophthalmologists cease providing care for non-emergent patients.  Therefore, our office is closed for at least the next two weeks beginning Friday, March 20, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  If you have a medical eye emergency please call our office and follow the directions to reach our answering service.  If you have a non urgent issue you may leave a message on our voicemail and you will receive a return call the next business day.

Dr. Leon Remis is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in all areas of ophthalmic medicine including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye care and eye muscle surgery.  Dr. Remis opened his medical practice over thirty years ago in Marblehead, MA.  Dr. Remis provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and gladly accepts new patients.


Dr. Remis specializes in cataract surgery.  Surgery is performed on an out patient basis at both The North Shore Medical Center in Salem and Massachusetts General Hospital in Danvers, Massachusetts.
