Staff

Dr. Remis graduated from Boston University School of Medicine in 1974 and completed his medical residency at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia PA in 1978.  Post residency, Dr. Remis treated patients and instructed residents for over 10 years in the Glaucoma Consultation Service at The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  Since 1980, Dr. Remis has been practicing ophthalmology full-time in Marblehead MA.  He specializes in treating cataracts and glaucoma and brings extensive experience treating eye disorders, such as dry eye syndrome and diabetic retinopathy to the North Shore. Dr. Remis performs surgery at the North Shore Medical Center in Salem MA.

Terri joined Dr. Remis' office staff in 2009, and is now helping Dr Remis as an ophthalmic assistant. She is responsible for ensuring office compliance and overseeing day to day operations. Terri also handles patient medical coding and billing along with patient insurance related billing questions. She also handles payroll, IT support and provides transcription services for the office. Terri takes care of the practice's accounts receivable and payable's, bringing with her over a decade of medical office experience.

Jennifer joined Dr. Remis' office staff in 2017. She is responsible for administrative and billing duties. Jen also assists Dr. Remis with visual field testing, processing referrals and questions. Additionally, Jennifer handles contacts orders, scheduling, and lots of other tasks around the office. Jennifer brings almost 3 years of experience to the office as well as a big smile to greet you as you walk in the door.
